In Israel’s battle with the Amalekites, (Exodus 17) every person had a role. Moses had his role, Aaron and Hur had their roles, and the soldiers had their roles. Some might have wondered why Moses, Aaron and Hur were not on the battlefield. But for Israel to win the battle, they needed to be on the mountaintop. Could this be an example to our families and church families on working within the roles and supporting others with different roles?
