The stoning of Stephen emboldened persecution of the Christ Followers. Christians were being displaced. As a consequence of rejecting Jesus as Messiah the Good News of Jesus now moved rapidly beyond Jerusalem. Even in the midst of difficulty, now is the time to live out the Good News of Jesus.
